I am planning an anniversary getaway with my wife Feb-end. I am
looking for a resort/hotel, with some activities, within a 3 hour
driving distance from Philadelphia. I am interested in a room with a
private whirlpool/jacuzzi. We have a budget between 1000 and 1500. I
have already looked at Caesar's Poconos, and I am looking for a better
place. I need an answer by 02/06.

I know you said you were not interested in Caesar's Pocono's, but as
someone who was planning a very similar weekend for an anniversary
last year in the same area, we went to Caesar's and really enjoyed it.
 We spent two nights at Paradise Stream with a private pool and
whirlpool in our room.  The total cost for the weekend was about $800.

I was just curious what you ended up deciding to do for your special
weekend.  I am always looking for romantic getaway weekends near
Philly.
