I grandfathered into a LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)
for the state of Louisiana while living in Tenn.
I am considering moving back to Louisiana and need to know if
insurance companies in that state are likely to cover visits to an
LMFT.
(In other words, can I make any money in La.)
I have a spot there in a successful private practice that has LPCs and LSWs -
I need to know if they will be able to refer their clients to a LMFT.
We will have to make a moving decision in the next two weeks or so.
I have doubts that this question can be answered -
I've tried without much success and I dont need anymore vague answers.
However if someone can give me a good concrete answer
that will help me know what to expect should I move to La. I will tip
well on top of the asking price.
