I would like to know which companies provide so called ?mobile short
codes? in the UK.  Mobile subscribers on any UK network can send an
SMS or MMS message to this shortcode and receive content back (logos,
ringtones, jokes, etc).
I am looking for your recommendation which of these companies would be
best suited as a shortcode supplier for a new business dealing with
premium SMS and MMS content.

I will be very happy with an answer that includes at least 5
companies.  I would like the researcher to indicate which one is the
best and why (in the opinion of the researcher).

as they are the only five carriers. As far as I am aware, they will
all deal direct for corporate accounts of any size.
I assume that you are actually looking for a reseller who will add on
service elements to that - perhaps providing the content and billing
platform for the service you are looking to offer?
