Who oversees or governs the policies and practices of the National Elevator Industry Education Program? I believe there are Federal requirements related to the classes in this Mechanics Licensing Program and I would like to find out what entity, private or governmental I could direct questions or concerns to. |

Dear Bella Solamore, The "National Elevator Industry Education Program" is administered by "the national Board of Trustees of the National Elevator Industry. Curriculum and teaching materials are supplied by the National Board. The Board also pays the local instructors, rents facilities, and administers the mechanics exam and member certification."
