Hi, thank you for submitting your question to Answers.Google, I hope I
can provide the information you are seeking.
What you are probably going to be happiest with is a driving school
event at a major race track.
These normally focus on driving race cars of some sort such as a
Formula Ford, or driving normal street cars, but some specialize in
the exotics.
Unfortunately I couldn?t locate any in the U.S., but there are many in England.
In the U.S. there is
http://theexperiencestore.com/index.php?cPath=21
which offers driving experiences in a wide variety of exotic vehicles,
including Ferrari.
For $1,750 your boyfriend can drive a Ferrari F 355 on one of several
famous race tracks in the U.S. The top speed of this vehicle on the
available tracks should be close to 150 mph.
Currently listed locations are:
Miami-Homestead
Moroso-Palm Beach
Sebring
Roebling Road-Savannah
So you can see that they are spread across the U.S.
The day-long event includes meals, classroom lecture, and actual
driving time. As usual with this sort of event, there are several
students/drivers per car but driving one of these monsters for the
first time on a track is a very exhausting as well as exhilarating
experience and the majority of people I know who have attended similar
events find that they get all the wheel time they want.
The company does not currently offer Lamborghini classes, but there
are less expensive (about $1,000)classes for Cobra and Vette race cars
and even a Formula 1 event ($2,299).
Phone 866-737-2670 or visit the Web site. These events are held every month or so.
That is the only such school/experience I could locate in the U.S.
See these sites for information on some of the UK events. Since the
U.S. school seems to be exactly what you were looking for I haven?t
gone into any detail about the UK schools.

and, a lot of listings at

Thank you again for turning to Answers.Google for help. I should
probably mention that I own a Maserati and have attended similar track
events at Pocono which hosts an annual Italian exotics day (but only
for owners). They are a lot of fun, I'm certain he will appreciate the
gift. |
