You need to understand there is no such thing as a "family coat of
arms" in European countries or the British Isles. Ther are a number of
articles about this on the Internet, including

Eogn-ga, I do not quite understand your claim that "there is no such
thing as a 'family coat of arms' in European countries".

There are many families with the same coat of arms for all the members
of one particular family ("Familienwappen" in German). Of course, the
genealogical relationship should be established before claiming to be
a member of the family in question (i.e. the coat of arms in
question).

The question as asked by preist-ga referred to a family in Germany and
possibly this family did have a family coat of arms.
