i am trying to find out if a Brazilian actor named Stenio Garcia has a

My translation of the text is:

Yes, I'm sorry, my mistake.  In my original answer I did say that
Cássia and Gaya were from his first marriage, in fact the text does
say they are from his second marriage.  My apologies.

Interestingly Cássia and Gaya have a fashion store in Ipanema just
down the road from me!

has told me and many others that she is the daughter of a famous
Brazilian actor named Stenio Garcia.  I have had my doubts that she
was telling the truth.  After your findings, now I know that she has
been less than truthful with me and many others.
Unfortunately, you can't be too careful when you meet someone new who
seems nice but also seems suspicious.

Yes, the situation is very unfortunate. She has recently married into
my family...I just knew that something wasn't right. Fortunately, I
know now that she has some secrets...unfortunatley, there is really
nothing i can do about it...
I do appreciate your insight, though.  Now I know the right questions
to ask her, and I also know that she may be less than honest in the
future.
If nothing else, I know that my instincts were right...and if I have
any questions in the future, I know who to ask!!!
