the anti virus that i am using is Symantec. I found it is extemely good in finding the viruses. I am running a cyber cafe. the first thing i do in the morning when i open the cyber cafe, it to download the latest viruses definitons from symantec web site daily. Through this way my systems are safe from all viruses. but one thing is for spyware, you can use Spybot |

If it really needs to be an all in one solution, you could go with McAfee. http://us.mcafee.com/ They offer all that you are looking for. I don't know off hand of any other non-enterprise level (read: extereamly expensive) package. You can get the same protection with a group of free applications that all run fine together. Anti-virus/worms: http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/ Firewall: http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/comparison.jsp Pop ups: http://www.mozilla.org/products/ This will replace Internet Explorer as your web browser. Spyware: http://www.lavasoft.com/software/adaware/ Spam: If you use a web-based mail service like yahoo or hotmail, you'll need to rely on them to take care of spam (yahoo is very good at this). If you use Outlook now, consider Thunderbird. http://www.mozilla.org/products/ |

I have used McAfee VirusScan for a very long time, years in fact and found it satisfactory and (knock on wood!) have never gotten a virus. In addition I have used their firewall, spam killer, anti-spyware and privacy software. Now I am considering the web security suite. The updates are automatic whenever changes are necessary (I use DSL, hubby uses WI-FI + dialup). I like their products very much and find them easy to use and not too intrusive. |

My suggestions are not a suite of an all in one solution: Kerio Personal Firewall:(freeware) http://www.kerio.com/kpf_home.html Avast! Antivirus: (Freeware) http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html Resident AntiSpyware: PestPatrol (shareware) www.pestpatrol.com Spamfilter: K9 (freeware) Read carefully the page and the guides. http://www.keir.net/k9.html Antipopups, etc.: Maxthon: (freeware) If you like the IE browser engine use this browser. "Popup ads, Flash ads, Floating ads, Image ads... Get enough with all these annoying ads? Here is the solution: AD Hunter. AD Hunter consists of several neat functions to block all kind of ads. You can use the "Auto Filter" to block popup ads or setup a "Filter List" for more accurate and customized blocking." http://www.maxthon.com/en/features.htm http://www.maxthon.com/en/download.htm Or try Firefox if you do not want to use the IE engine: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ I hope this "suite" do its job in your computer. |
