I have a lot of static electricity in my home. I live in MN, have an
furnace air exchanger and relative house humidity of about 25-30%. In
the past I have used ionizers but wasn't sure they were effective,
plus the one I had came attached to an air purifier that I knew wasn't
effective (that Sharper Image one, a rip-off). So I'm wondering if I
need ionizers especially in rooms where I use computers. Probably in
summer this isn't a problem. Seems bad this winter (my first winter in
this house).
