Hi, I'm looking for a good website hosting service as I have been
burnt before. I have some criteria however, it has to be a reseller
hosting account and they have to use cpanel for their control panel. I
need at least 500MB of disk space and 10GB of bandwidth for
$20.00/month. They have to use a decent network. I don't want any
budget network hosts I want a host who uses a name brand network
preferebly Internap or maybe Savvis bandwidth. Any help you can offer
would be appreciated.

I'm looking for good reseller providers who use Internap or Savvis for
their internet connectivity and carry cpanel as their control panel.

At Xen Hosting, they have a plan called XEN R-2GB and you get 2000 MB
disk space and 60GB bandwidth for ONLY $10.00 per month. They are
connected to XO and Abovenet. And let me tell you i have a reseller
account with them and i have ZERO problems. It is always up and
always fast.

I agree with you there are plenty of low budget networks out there,
at http://www.haloweb.co.za we offer quality website and reseller hosting.
What I suggest you do on your search for a reseller host is to setup a list of
carefully planned criteria as mentioned above plus some additional questions
such as how long they have been in business and what are their server specs.

Personally I would not like to host resellers on any box with less
than 2 pentium 4 processors and 2 gigs of ram, you may also want to
find out how many resellers they allow on one box, just to ensure you
don't get a host that over crowd's his services.

Another tip would be to ask the host for a server IP and then go to
www.networktools.com and ping their server to check on the MS speed.

While I absolutely appreciate your comments neither of the two hosting
services noted really meets my criteria. It appears that
xenhosting.com is hosted with the planet and haloweb.co.za uses
burstnet. While I don't doubt that they may be qualtity providers I'm
really looking for a provider using Internap or perhaps Savvis. Thanks
for your time.

I've been using site5.com for a while now and am very happy with the
service they provide. It is always up and fast and they provide very
solid and timely administration and support (though support is email
only, 10-15 min for initial contact and then 5-10 min for further
replys). I am hosting 15 sites on an account that has 3GB disk and
70GB bandwidth with cpanel and all that that entails: (mysql, stats,
web-based ssh, email mgmt, 3 different web-mail clients, tons of
scripts, ftp mgmt, etc.) and very good spam tools. I've had zero
problems and support was very helpfull in getting setup.

My account is $27/month and they have a special going for a similar
account that is $21/mo (these are 6 month prices, but they have
pricing for monthly, quarerly, and annually as well)

I couldn't tell you right off whether or not they use one of the
providers that you mention, but I can tell you that I did a decent
amount of searching around before I chose them (several weeks) and
that you might want to open yourself to other providers if you're set
on the the price point that you mention. I have no complaints about
their internet service or their customer service, really just praise.
