Connect iPod to PC. Open iTunes. In the Source pane, right-click your iPod and select iPod Options.... In the Music sub-tab of the iPod tab of the iTunes window that just opened, select "Manually manage songs and playlists." You should now be able to drag songs from your iPod to iTunes. |

I'm am almost certain that there is no legal way to do this, since it would allow you to carry your entire music library to any other person's house and transfer all you songs to their hard drive. There are, however, a number of workarounds, which I use to restore music in case the music is lost on the computer (hard drive failure, accidental deletion, etc.). A few methods are described on this page: http://www.engadget.com/entry/7166385640773718/ . |
