How long is a new Nokia 6230 battery suppose to be charged the first time?

It's really easy.  put the battery in, put it on the charger.  When
you're phone's fully charged, it actually pops up with a notice.  The
charging thing it does, the battery fillin up stops, and it stays
solid.  Just put it on the charger before you go to bed, and in the
morning it should have a battery full notice.  If it doesn't, just
wait until that pops up.

Thanks! Your solution is the most logical one, but I just heared that
new batteries must be chargede 24 hours the first time. I even tried
to look it up at Nokia's home page and they wrote the same.

I'm just confused.
