Dear "I can find anything", No, Miss America is not the same competition as Miss U.S.A. Miss America website: http://www.missamerica.org/ Miss U.S.A. website: http://www.missusa.com/ After visiting these websites, you will become aware of multiple key differences. For example, Miss U.S.A. 2002 is Shauntay Hinton but Miss America 2002 is Katie Harman. Miss U.S.A delegates have to be between the ages of 18 and 24, while Miss America delegates are between the ages of 17 and 24. Miss U.S.A is produced by the Miss Universe Organization, along with Miss Teen U.S.A and Miss Universe. Search terms used: miss u.s.a. ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=miss+U.S.A.&btnG=Google+Search miss america ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=miss+america I never even noticed that there were two competitions! Thanks for the interesting question! Best regards, ukiguy |

Donald Trump also owns 50% share and serves as producer for the Miss USA pageant. {http://www.hoovers.com/uk/co/capsule/3/0,2163,40473,00.html} |
