I am looking for the title of a movie that has the following plot:
There are three irish friends, one of who I remember was married and
considering having an affair, one of whom is about to be married.
They decide to rent a car and a driver to tour around Ireland for a
week or so before he gets married. Towards the end of the trip they
end up at a pub that the guy who is about to be married really wants
to go into, but it appears to be closed and he is very disappointed.
However, when he tries to open the doors he finds that dozens of his
best friends have gathered together to throw him a surprise stag
party, including his ex-girlfriend to whom he lost his viriginity I
think, and he drinks a lot and ends up singing a song on stage at some
point. He eventually leaves with his ex, they take a walk down to the
shore, he wonders if he actually wants to get married because he
wonders what kind of a life he could have with this girl, and she is
tempted as well, but they do not end up doing anything. Instead he
passes out in her apartment, wakes up relieved at what did not happen,
makes it back down to his friends, and eventually to his fiance. At
some point his ex-girlfriend says to him, "Maybe next lifetime" or
something like that. |
