I'd like to know recent statistics (e.g. within the last couple of
years) for total dollar value of computer software purchased by US
schools - either all schools or just high schools, but throughout the
USA. It's curriculum software I'm specifically interested in, so
ideally also broken down by subject, though not essential.

When I say 'curriculum software' I mean software used for teaching, as
opposed to administrative software or operating system/network
software. So your source needs to identify which of these the
statistics are for. If it's for (say) all types of software, then I'd
also need statistics indicating what proportion of this is curriculum
software. Incidentally, if you can also obtain a breakdown of software
spend by subject (e.g. Math, History), or statistics from which this
can be derived, I'd be happy to add a $20 tip.
