I am possiblly looking for a job in R/D in industry. I want to know some cultural, or non-technical part of the company. For example, how do they make decisions? Are they more conservative (no mistake) or creative? What do they weight most when hiring? What kind of people get promoted? etc. I am a EE ph.D student majored in DSP, image processing. Here is a list of the companies, just for reference. You don't need to complete everyone, and you're welcome to add more. HP research, IBM research, microsoft research, google, apple, GE research, Sun An ideal answer could be either a mess of thing that you know of; or a list of webpage/newspaper article/etc that I can check out myself. Or better, both. |
