In my childhood we used to call them "Indian nuts" and buy them for pennies from vending machines. Today anyone can readily buy shelled pine nuts but the unshelled nuts seem to have disappeared from the market. They must be available somewhere but it seems a secret. Can you find me a source, preferably internet friendly, where I might buy some in small quantities? |
