Three Five star hotels in Vancouver can be found at the site below.
You can click on each of the three hotels listed (two of them are
Fairmonts, one waterfront)to pull up full page descriptions and some
pretty nice photos. However, all three of them are downtown.

I don't know your preferences, but your mention of Relais & Chateaux
led me to believe you are looking more in the luxury spa type of
hotel, not quite in the city. I've included information on the three
Relais & Chateaux member hotels in the area, though they are in the
surrounding area rather than in Vancouver itself. Here's a
description of one, plus a mention that their are two others:

"Airie Resort...This Mediterranean-style mansion reminiscent of
Southern Europe is located 30 minutes from Victoria on a remote
hillside with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. After
the surprise of seeing the hotel for the first time the impeccable
service is the next thing you notice. (This is one of the only three
accomodations listed for Vancouver Island in Relais & Chateau's world
wide directory. The other two are Hastings House on Saltspring Island
and The Wickaninnish Inn at Long Beach.)" Read more on the web page:

Here are the web sites for each of the three hotels. They all have
breathtaking pictures too!

The Wickaninnish Inn:

Enjoy your trip!
