Where in California?s many codes of regulations, including the Uniform
Building Code and any other code or regulations of any local
jurisdiction having authority, excluding any reference within the ADA
statute, is there a code that mandates or conditional specifies an
elevator or means of conveyance in a building of two floors or more?

1. Any type of building is my question, but the project that has
raised this question is residential.

2. Specifically the State of California, however the location of the
current property that is the has raised this query is the City of San
Diego.
