Hello,

I've been working with many types of health and psychological issues
with great success using sound healing. There's a list of case
studies on aliceviolet.com. Using Sound, vocal toning and energy
balancing techniques my clients have regained balance, hearing, taste,
smell...It's been very successful two women labelled bi-polar. They
both have left their comments. It's worked quickly for all kinds of
pain that traditional means hadn't helped.

I use various types of tuning forks, tibetan and crystal bowls among
other instruments. I cannot comment about the brain entrainment tapes
because I haven't used them, there are forums on tribe.net and they
may be valuable for healing.

Healing with Sound is ancient and there is a lot in the news about
it's science and medical use in hospitals and by oncologists.
I have some of those links on my site:
http://www.aliceviolet.com/power_of_sound_to_heal.htm

Interesting note is that it is considered "complementary" and not
alternative. It's safe to use with any other treatment/protocol.
Sound is being used for: pain relief, emotional issues, psychological
issues, diseases, and we also work with children. ADD, ADHD,
Autism...
I also worked with a man that had a six way bypass who couldn't lift
his arm above his shoulder and now has full extension and use. He's
received a perfect bill of health making a complete recovery.

What a great question you've asked!
