Have you considered this option:

You now have two offenses:

1) Whatever gave you the suspended license.
2) A new charge of Failure To Appear.

Undoubtedly, you have a warrant for your arrest. In my city, to quash
a warrant, you must physically go to the courthouse and request a new
court date on the failure to appear. Of course there is the risk of
being arrested, however it doesn't happen often.

I can find out whether this is an option in Danbury, and if so, where
to go and what to expect. Is that an acceptable Answer?

I forgot to ask you... If you want this information, please look at
your court papers (the notice of when and where to appear --that you
missed) and tell me the EXACT COURT where you were supposed to appear.

I need to know the full name of the Court. Is it a City Court? or a County Court?

Thanks...

I was in a rush when I post the question. Here are some more
information about my case:

1) The name of the court is "State of Connecticut Danbury Judicial
District Court", however, on the gate of the court it saids "Danbury
Superior Court". It is located at "146 White St. Danbury CT 06810"

2) (perhaps this is important) I am a international student holding a
F-1 visa, and currently enrolled in a full time undergraduate program.

3) I was suppose to appear in the court Feb 3, 2005 10:00AM, but I missed.

For the answers, I would love to have following information if possible:

1) Am I likely to be arrested? If I am eventually arrested, how long
do they usually keep me?

2) What are the possible solutions? What are the cost (both money and
time) and risk of those solutions?

3) Do I need a lawyer to handle this? How much does this usually cost?
and how long? (If it is no more than $1000, and save me from many
trouble I may prefer that way)

4) I need to get my license back as well. Are these two process related? If so how?

Thank you for quick response.

First, contact the clerk of the court and request a new court date.
You will be able to find out if a warrant was issued for you. If so,
the clerk can tell you if the judge, based on the request for a new
court date, will nullify the warrant.
If not you will have to take care of the warrant. Turn yourself in
early in the morning and be prepared to post a cash bond just in case.

Before doing anything of this - consider going to see an attorney for
advice or apply to represented by a public defender.

AND if you havn't done so already - get whatever got you suspended in
the first place cleared up and get a valid license.
