Want to start archiving digital images/music off of the laptop and onto DVD's. For the subject Drive, is there a particular brand of DVD which is more successful than others when it comes to burning? Also, I don't understand the difference between DVD "-", "+" R Thanks |

Diffent players reconize different media such as the - and the +. Older dvd players tend to be the - while newer ones play the +. And as far as brands go I use Memorex, but there it is more of a personal preferance. I am including a link about dvd media for you and there specs. Currently there are many writeable and rewriteable DVD formats on the market, and this can be confusing to the average consumer.
