The type of fireplace is convex and molds seamlessly into the
surrounding walls,especially if it is sited in a corner.Vertically it
is the shape that a pile of rocks would form if "poured" down a wall..
 The hearth opening is arched shaped-almost a roman arch.The picture
that you sent is fun but is not that which I seek. Thanks Mike445

Hi mike445,

I wasn't able to find a picture of Georgia O'Keeffe's home with the
fireplace, but I did find several photos of that particular style. 
The fireplace is called "kiva" or "beehive".

Would these photos be suitable for you?  If so, please reply with a
clarification and I'll post in the answer box.
