I am researching the effects of reality television on the American psych and body image. In paticular, I would like to find some interviews with contestants on "The Swan", "Extreme Makeover", or "I want a famous face". |

Reality TV is a symptom, not a cause. |

Sorry for the phrasing. I understand the comment. I am still looking for sites about the issue to aid me in my research. |

I'm wondering what kind or research you are conducting, because I'm also interested in doing research on the subject matter. I'm particularly interested in how it affects the people who work in the production and crew on these shows. I'm currently doing academic research on the issues and implications surrounding Reality TV. I know someone who produced on some of these shows and was somewhat psychologically disturbed by it. Maybe we can lead eachother in the right direction on the subject matter, or possibly even collaborate? |
