I found a book entitled "History of the Coomer Family." The frontspiece states
"Genealogical History of the Coomer Family, for a period of about 180
years, embracing six generations, 1710 to 1892, by Benjamin G. Coomer.
Flint, Michigan; W. H. Werkheiser & Sons, 1893. The book is in very
good shape. I can find no reference to a Coomer family in the
Flint/Detroit area. Someone from that family would like to have this
book and I would like to give it to that person. Can you find the
Coomer family? |

Nice of you to try and track down the modern-day Coomer's.
It is against Google Answers policy to provide personal information on
private individuals.
However, there are several Coomer listings in and around the Flint, MI
area, and you can certainly identify these on your own.
Try an online white pages directory such as SuperPages:
http://directory.superpages.com/people.jsp
Enter "coomer" in the "Last Name" box, select Michigan as your state,
and enter Flint for the city. Select "Include nearby areas" to
broaden the search.
You can certainly do the same for other cities in Michigan or, for
that matter, other states.
This should get you well-started.
Let me know if there is other information you need, of if this is the
sort of information you were looking for.
