I would like to know if there were any free online services that would
enable me to create a temporary distribution list (i.e.
list@something.com).  I know that i could create a google/msn/yahoo
group and add people, but i just want a quicker/simpler way to do
this.  Does anyone know of such a service?

Well you said you are wanting something temporary. You were talking
about google and such but you said you wanted a quicker and easier
way. So if you use your main e-mail account you can eaither insert the
names or download mass e-mail software which will work with your pop3
account.

i know how to use distribution lists in outlook, and that's not what
i'm looking for.  i want to be able to tell someone to email
"list@something.com" instead of doing a "reply to all".
