What is the mark on a musical score that indicates where successive
voices parts of a canon or round take up the theme

Hi shellback,

It's usually a number.  I don't know if you call that a mark, but it's
usually a number representing the 1st 2nd 3rd *entrances* for the 1st
2nd 3rd part.

Usually it's just a number (Arabic) above the starting note.
