My company uses Filemaker 7 for our Customer Database and creating
invoices. I use Quickbooks Pro 2005 to perform all of the accounting
aspects. Weekly, we have to write refund checks to customers. Since
the customer information is in Filemaker 7, I have to use a report
from Filemaker that has all of the customer Name and Address info to
send this check to. I want to be able to export the list of Names and
addresses from Filemaker 7 into my Quickbooks Pro 2005.

Hi ronniedsf,

Would this do the job?

"FMP 2QB is the easiest and fastest way to get your data from a custom
FileMaker Pro solution into QuickBooks Pro.

FMP 2QB will also import Customers and Vendors, Items, and Accounts
from QuickBooks back into your FileMaker solution.

*Includes a VB ( Visual Basic ) script to automatically import your
FileMaker Pro data into QuickBooks with a click of a button in our
FileMaker solution!"

Waiting to hear your views.

Rainbow

Hi,

I checked with my computer people and we realized this is for
Filemaker 6 and not 7. Is there a program for Filemaker 7? Thanks.

Ronnie

I am still waiting for your answer.

I was told by my tech person that FilemakerPr 5 and 6 are completely
different than Filemaker Pro 7.

Will this program work for Filemaker Pro 7?

Hi Ronnie,

I have just received this reply from the developer of this software,
Mr. Mark Jeffords:

"It would need to be converted to FMP 7 version. They are just
FileMaker databases. They just need to be converted to 7. It could
convert with little problem or it may take some time to convert
relationships, tables etc.. But basically it exports a CSV file that
is compatible regardless of whether it came from 6 or 7."

I hope that helps.

Best of luck,
Rainbow
