This is a clarification of my earlier post. I would like to know the
percentage of women elected to every political system in the world
from 1950 through 1997. The list of nations will vary by the year in
question. However, given a specific year, such as 1950, I would like a
list of the percentage of women elected to the national legislature
for every nation in existence for that year; ditto for other years.
Some legislatures have two houses; I especically need the data for the
lower house. Also, generally, there are several election cycles for
each year. I would like the data for all the election cycles for each
year. I would prefer that the data be in an excel format. The IPU must
have this data. However, their web site does not provide this data for
years prior to 1997. The IPU usually calacultes the percentage of
women elected to legislatures for each country. However, you may find
only the raw numbers. If so, please provide both the raw numbers and
the calculated percentages. Thank you.

Do you want the world average for each year from 1950-1997 or a list
of every nations average for each year?

I need the percent women elected to national legislatures for each
nation (not the world average). I need the separate percentage for
each nation that exists for the specific year in question.
