I am trying to find useage or sales figures for instant cold
packs(used in first aid /emergency medical possibly instant ice packs)
for the United States plus a list af all "manufacturers"(not
distibutors) of them.

The major information I seek is to the useage or sales figures.  If
possible a list of manufacturers would be OK but not necessary.

You may want to consider dividing this into two separate questions,
one for the sales figures and the other for a list of manufacturers'
names. When two research projects are bundled together, a Researcher
will not be able to post an answer and receive compensation unless he
or she completes both projects. If the questions were posted
separately, you'd be more likely to get at least some of the
information that you need.

Please keep in mind that it is virtually impossible for a Researcher
to compile a list of "all" of anything. You will probably do better if
you ask for a list of finite size, taking into consideration the price
you've set on the question.

Consider the question two parts with the useage/sales figure being the
important one.
