I am looking for some basic information on owning and operating an
apartment building. Specifically:

1.) What are the minimum requirements of apartment ownership? What
sort of building codes/fire safety, etc do you need to be aware of?
What kind of insurance do you need to have?

2.) Is there any way to find an estimate of operating costs?

You need not be real specific in answering this question. I would be
most interested in applicable websites, general information. If it
helps, I live in Ohio.
