I have a very small portable hard drive from Storix technologies
(www.mystorix.com -- a website that no longer seems to work); the
actual hdd is 25 GB (or maybe 20), supports both firewire & usb; the
flimsy, small plastic USB housing(w/in the chassis -- a .02 piece)
fell into the drive and now it seems that www.mystorix.com is gone --
and storix no longer sells portable hard drives -- I need to find
someone willing to sell the original storix hard drive chassis w/the
usb & firewire casings in tact (it's very small -- I want it small --
I know I can replace it w/something bigger) -- or someone willing to
fix my drive and place the right .02 piece into place --

What about http://www.storix.com/ or is this a different company.

Thanks for the suggestion; I had checked this out; unfortunately, this
'iteration' of Storix only supports system backup administration
software for (basically) Linux...

I might be able to fix it but you would need to ship it to me and even
then I might not be able to do so as I have no idea what this drive
looks like. You could probably find a local geek. You need the king
that repairs computers,has a soldering iron and builds small robots.

I have a Storix Fusion 25 HDD drive. Open box but never been used. If
you don't fine just a housing I will sell the complete unit for $75.

I am the original manufacturer of this product.  If you just need the
insert piece, I can send one to you.  Storix is now out of business.
