I'm in the US, New York to be specific.  I'm taking delivery of the
car in mid-August and my dealer doesn't seem to have any real info on
this.

What about aftermarket?
You obviously want a hard mount unit, Right?
Motorola 2950 would be the model #. www.motorola.com  or
www.motorola.ca
go to www.pro-fit-intl.com to find your correct mounting bracket.
which is vehicle specific.

Go to your friendly neighbourhood Cellular dealer!! I think that this
model won't work on the iDEN network..but I'm not 100%.
