Just as an aside...In France the rule *was* that only companies could have a .fr suffix and needed to prove that a company existed with the same name as the chosen web domain. I say *was* because the rule is being relaxed so that anyone can have a .fr without having presence...rather like a .com. |

As far as I know: Any foreigner can register a German .de domain - provided the owner can name a contact person resident in Germany, in case there are legal issues. |

Hello, There're 2 major european websites which offer good prices for country specific domain registrations: eurodns.com and edc.es You might want to check them out, maybe you'll pay a few extra dollars for registering some local domain names but you'll have the convenience to manage all your domains at one place. If not here're some local websites which offer the lowest prices for the registration of their country domain: Germany: variomedia.de and domain24.de France: directnom.com UK: lowcostnames.co.uk Russia: nic.ru Hope this helps! Good luck! |

I think it's better to use a English website to reg euro domains for you. You can try to visit http://www.idotz.net to reg:.de.at .be .co.uk .pl and .se For other euro name you can visit http://www.eurodns.com,but the price is little high. In fact, from what I know, there are many domain name sellers use idotz.net,but only few sellers use eurodns.com. The price of idotz.net is really cheap than other site.So I recommend you use idotz.net |
