I have several research questions I would like to look into in
connection with a book I am writing, The Virtual Handshake: Opening
Doors and Closing Deals Online. For details, see
www.TheVirtualHandshake.com .

+ How many Americans are on mailing list communities?
www.pewinternet.org/pdfs/PIP_Communities_Report.pdf has some data
about participation in online communities, but not specifically about
mailing lists.

+ What is the size of the web conferencing industry, in revenues and in customers?

+ Can you find a study that proves that higher Character is good for
business? Specifically, I theorize that higher integrity leads to
greater trust which makes it easier to close deals. I'm looking for
an academic study that proves that point.

+ Please find a study, preferably from a reputable university, with
data on percentage of all people who get jobs via networking. More
generally, I'm interested in the importance of networking.

+ Please get data on percentage of all people who close sales via
networking. How important is networking vs. other sources for closing
a deal?

I suggest that you repost each of these items as a separate question,
appropriately priced. Bundling all these questions together, at $8.00,
makes it likely that the only responses you will get will be from site
visitors, not Google Answers Researchers.
