Hello talkingstick,

According to the Philadelphia Eagles, the team's owner is Jeffrey
Lurie. (The site does not suggest that Mr. Lurie shares ownership
with anyone else.)

"Jeffrey Lurie"
Philadelphia Eagles
http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/team/frontofficebio.jsp?id=657

The owners of the Eagles have been:

Burt Bell and Lud Wray: 1933-36 (started as Frankford Yellowjackets)

Burt Bell: 1936-40

Burt Bell and Art Rooney: 1940-41

Alexis Thompson: 1941-49 (including temporary merger in 1943 with Bell
and Rooney's Pittsburgh Steelers to form "Steagles")

"Happy Hundred" or "100 Brothers" (100 owners led by James Clark, down
to 65 owners by 1963): 1949-63

Jerry Wolman: 1963-69

Leonard Tose: 1969-85

Norman Braman (along with Ed Leibowitz): 1985-94

Jeffrey Lurie: 1994-present

As a first-time user of Google Answers, you may not have been aware of
the procedure if you are dissatisfied with an answer. As explained in
the following document, you can ask for clarification, and then,
"after you get a response to your question, you can provide feedback
by rating the answer":

"Before you give an answer a poor rating, Google Answers suggests
first seeking a 'Clarification,' because the Researcher may simply
have misunderstood your request."

"Answers Help and Tips: What you can do once your question is asked"
Google Answers
http://answers.google.com/answers/help.html#followup

Giving a one-star rating before the answer is clarified could lead to
a grumpy Researcher rather than a good clarification!

Still, especially since you might not have realized this issue, I will
endeavor to provide a good initial clarification, and will do
follow-up research if you would like.

A very recent article states that Jeffrey Lurie's wife, Christina
Lurie, is "the Eagles' co-owner."

"Two Teams, One Link," by Phil Sheridan (Feb. 6, 2005)
Philadelphia Inquirer
http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/sports/football/10826556.htm?1c

The Philadelphia Eagles site generally characterizes Christina Lurie
as the wife of "owner" Jeffrey Lurie. However, upon further
inspection of the site, I see that it did call her "owner" in December
2004. Perhaps her co-ownership is a recent development.

"Big Day To Spread Green Love To The Kids" (December 7, 2004)

I do not see any indication on the Web of other owners. Do you have
specific information that there are other owners? If so, please let
me know, so that I would have a starting point for follow-up research.
In the meantime, I will let you know if I come across more
information.

Call the Eagles directly. The answer given to you was a good one.
