Ok now that we have figured out that the Blountsville county seat was
taken in 1889 I need to know HOW it was taken?

some men from Oneonta slipped into the Blountsville courthouse, at
cover of night, stole the records and established the 'new' courthouse
in Oneonta.  To this day it is a source of contention among many of
the people of Blountsville.
