For example, click on the link: Forbes: "Forbes Platinum 400 (America's best-performing big companies based on growth and profitability) (1948) 2005 and it will take you to America's Best Big Companies for 2005 http://www.forbes.com/2004/12/22/05platinumland.html There are additional links for preceding years at each link. Hopefully, another researcher will be able to compile a list of awards from organizations and institutions for you. If not, I would be happy to post what I found as an answer. The first list presented by your colleague is useless. The second is short. I'm told by my boss that there are at least 30 awards we could qualify for. There certainly aren't 30 here.
