Can a Hawai`i circuit court judge change a filed motion when granting it? Words were left off which had major impact on the relief granted, depriving the individual involved of a "life estate" in real property. There is a suspicion of prejudice as well as collusion between the plaintiff's attorney, the defendant and the presiding judge. It is, as the British might call it, "a sticky wicket." |

Depends on the circumstances but probably yes. It sounds like you need to talk to a lawyer you trust. |
