I have been searching for a very long time for this and can't find it.
Maybe you guys can help. I have a Keilwerth SX90R Tenor Sax and I am
looking to buy a case for it. I know, for a fact, that the case I'm
looking for does exist (as a matter of fact, quite a number of them
do!), but I cant even find a fleeting reference to it on the internet!
It is a case VERY similar the the Pro Tec Contoured Pro Pac Case
(http://www.ptcases.com/items.asp?ProductID=251&InstrumentGroupID=8&CategoryID=2&InstrumentID=35),
but it is custom made to fit the Keilwerth Saxes, since they do not
fit in the standard cases (the bow and bell are larger than normal).
They also have a slightly nicer lining: it's different material
(although I'm not exacly sure what it is) and it's red instead of
black. I think that these cases we made by Pro Tec, but I am not
sure. They have a Keilwerth Logo on them, so one cannot be positive.

If you can find this case for sale directly or find a music store that
sells (and ships these cases), I will be totally and utterly amazed.

Could this be it?

Fine Cases: SKB450

Another online seller's site says of this model: "With adjustment,
will fit Keilwerth":

Skyline Music Gear: SKB450

Unfortunately, that's not it. Specifically, the case I'm looking for
has a nylon outer lining. Sorry I left that detail out in the
original message. I wish I could at least find a picture of it to
help y'all out, but it does look VERY similar to the one I have the
link to. It also has a pocket on the outside (like the one in the
picture), which is very important since contoured cases are notorious
about haveing very limited storage space. I know that you are
probably not musicians and they may all kind of look the same to you,
but it makes a difference to us! :-)>

Hello Jonboy,

You say these cases are about but after a very long search I not been
too succesful.

However, I have found the website of a company who say they are the
official Keilwerth dealer and they appear to supply cases.

If you have not tried them it may be worth a site visit or an Email.
If they can't supply what you want they may be able to point you in
the right direction.

The link is:

http://www.saxalley.com/saxophones.html

The Email address is:

saxalley@frii.com

The Fax/Phone number is:

 (970) 674-0222

I don't whether this will help but I hope so.

Good luck

There's a BAM (French) case that resembles the one in your image. I
know it doesn't have the Keilwerth logo, but it can hold a Yamaha
Custom, which I understand has a bigger bell.

I highly recommend them - mine has lasted 8 year with nearly no
visible wear (and a lot of abuse).

Good luck,

Charlie

These cases say specifically "Does not fit Keilwerth". None of the
BAM cases do, unfortunately, becase they are great cases. Oh well...
