It appears that in offices, schools or other workplaces a social
culture develps in which workers share experiences, interact,
celebrate persomal events, in short - have a social, even solidarity
experience as a group.
On the other hand, it seems University teachers don't have a similar
culture. The staff room is for whiling away time till your class
begins, and becaus it's an essentially competitive world, not that of
equals, there is not a lot informal social group interaction. Is there
any web-material or literature on this issue? Thanks.
