By network, I believe lot-ga meant: Which mobile phone carrier's bill
are you referring to? (e.g. Verizon Wireless, SunCom, Sprint PCS,
etc.)

MadMary,

Thanks for the question! There is actually an easy answer and the
instructions should be rather straightforward.

All phone calls coming into or made from any cell phone in the US are
recorded by the mobile phone provider. Generally the individual
incoming/outgoing numbers are not listed unless you have ordered
"detailed billing", which usually costs less than $5 extra a month.
With this feature, you receive a complete list of all
incoming/outgoing phone numbers. Of course this lis might be quite
long if you use the phone a lot. It will be of course up to you to
plow through all these numbers and find the one of particular interest
to you.

Since you refer to a bill, I'll assume that this is for your account.
If you're referring to someone else's account, you will have a very
hard time finding this information out. I'll assume the former.

Most phone carriers keep records going back many months, so you should
have no problem asking for detailed billing for a particular month. If
the time in question is more than a month or so in the past, you may
have to pay an extra research fee. For current and recently past
months, you may be able to find all of your records online. If your
provider provides this online bill feature, log onto their website as
described below and sign up for online access. You'll love this handy
way to view your activity.

Here are links to the websites of the 3 providers you mention. I've
also included the customer service number of each if you'd prefer to
contact them that way.

Verizon Wireless
http://www.verizon.com
800-483-3000 (Customer Service - Billing)

Click on the link that says, "Register" under the Manage My Account
heading. After you register you should be able to access your bill by
clicking on "View or Pay My Bill. If you prefer call the phone number
above which is for your area.

Cingular Wireless
http://www.cingular.com
866-246-4852

BellSouth Mobility has now become Cingular. So contact Cingular for
both of these accounts. If you'd like to view your bill or sign up for
detailed billing, click on "Customer Service" from the Cingular
homepage, then put in your zip code under "View / Pay Your Bill". As
before, if you'd like to talk to someone on the phone use the number
listed above.

I hope this answers your question! :) My apologies for taking so long
to have someone get back with you. If I've misunderstood your
question, please respond with an answer clarification request and I'll
get back to work. Thanks for the question!

nope, no cell phone company prints INCOMING phone numbers.

MadMary,

You are right. My apologies. I called both Verizon and Cingular and
they inform me that they do not internally track incoming calls, and
there is no way to access these numbers. However depending on the
particular cell phone you are using, your caller ID should list up to
the 75 most recent incoming calls. If you don't know how to access
this information on your phone, let me know the brand and model number
and I'll investigate this for you.

If this is not an issue dealing with caller ID or accessing these
numbers, please let me know with another clarification and I'll make
some recommendations on how to proceed. Again, my apologies for not
getting an answer for you on this question.

these calls are from long ago,1-4 yrs, so the caller id is useless

Madmary,

Wow. All of the calls you are referring to are from 1 to 4 years ago?
You do have a problem since few companies are going to keep records
that old without considerable research fees in any case.

However, if you can tell me exactly why you need these phone records,
or for what purpose you intend to use the information, perhaps we can
come up with another solution. Might be worth a try.

Sorry I can't be more help.

Which of these mobile providers is listed at the top of your bill?
Each one uses different billing forms and has different customer
service numbers.
