I got an e-mail recently that asked hypothetically how much it would
cost to lease a car that ran on a pair of chemicals. And then it got
lost, along with a bunch of other emails due to I'm-not-sure-what. I
belong to Yahoogroups Free Energy, Sweet-VTA, Hydrogen power,
fuelcell-energy, and Lost Skeleton of Cadavra (great movie), in case
you can uncover that post/email (a tip for that).

It SEEMED to be implying that there could be a compound like sodium
hydroxide and some reducer like Metol or phenidone that would strip
the hydrogen and then secure it, non-destructively. So, is there such
a pairing or other grouping of chemicals? It would basically be a car
engine that could run on water, yes?

I don't think this is rocket science; I read somewhere that the
technique used for creating silicon chip boules was waiting in the melting
point charts to be discovered.

(I have read that iron filings dumped in the ocean will rust, releasing
hydrogen, then at a certain depth, lose the oxygen, so, I'm looking
for something much more energetic.)
