Hi rebbos-ga, DVI-I has both analog(VGA) and digital, that is why there is a dongle for connecting VGA->DVI-I and vice versa. But if you want to convert a DVI-D to VGA (or otherwise), you cannot do with a simple dongle alone. VGA is analog, DVI-D is digital and are not compatible. You could use a transcoder to do this, but is not as cheap as a dongle. There is also the issue of HDCP compliance for encrypted DVI-D streams. Hope this helps. Regards ldavinci-ga |
