AllenR ?

MCI was traded on the NASDAQ National Market at that time. On Monday,
April 4, 1983 it traded in the 44 - 45 3/8 range, closing at 44 7/8,
off ¾ from the previous close. Volume for the day was 722,100 shares.

MCI had traded in the range of 16 5/8 ? 46 7/8 in the previous 52 weeks.

There are a variety of ways to find old stock prices, one of them
being BigCharts.com ? where you want to use the ?Historical Quotes?:
http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/

I did NOT use BigCharts because another company has the ticker symbol
MCI. So I went to the Proquest Historical Newspapers database, which
many public libraries have online. It has New York Times pages back
to 1851 ? so I used it to look up the NASDAQ stock tables on Tuesday,
April 5, 1983 (p. 80).

Best regards,

Omnivorous-GA
