How do candy companies film their commercials with spinning candy bar
components flying through rivers of chocolate (i.e. Twix)?

Well they could go cgi with maya or the likes. But more than likley
they just have the candy on a wire or something of the sort and then
run it threw the chocolate and then the wire is edited out. Kind of
like the star wars or star trek ships on the older movies/shows.
