I am receiving bounced emails sent legitimately to clients. The
rejection messahge reads "Diagnostic code: smtp;550 Rule imposed as
pat@clover.co.nz is blacklisted on SpamCop (see www.spamcop.net)
There is no reason for blacklisting as I do not send unsolicited mail
- in fact the rejected messages have been replies to emails. Can you
please fix this urgently. I also do not see why I should have to pay
for something which is not my doing.
Thanks
Pat Kane

Answering a question like this is impossible without investing much
time and work. You might want to have a look at the Google Answers

You may want to contact your internet service provider. Some companies
have begun blacklisting entire ISPs because of too much spamming being
generated through their service. At one time earthlink was on a
spamming blacklist because of improper use of their service. I had
issues send email through them even from gmail/ yahoo/ and my own web
site because email was being tracked as coming from a blacklisted ISP
address.

Your address may have been hijacked by a spammer so got blacklisted,
but Spamcop says your address is OK. Suggest you contact them.

Are *all* your mails being bounced? It may be that the recipients have
blacklisted locally though I can?t see how that would invoke the
Spamcop response.

Incidentally, a useful tool for checking your own mail address is to
send a mail to yourself.

You can contact spamcop here http://www.spamcop.net/reported.shtml
they have a procedure to remove you from their blacklist,
