Judging from the following you don't even need the alcohol to be in
danger from this drug....."The problem Health Canada's decision last
week to pull a popular attention-deficit drug off the market, citing
reports linking it to 20 deaths between 1999 and 2003, has led parents
to call their doctors to see if their kids should stop taking the
stimulant."

I know a 15 year old boy who has been on Ritalin and Concerta for
years and last weekend was hospitalized near death from a few sips of
alcohol and a dose of childs cough medicine.  I guess Concerta is safe
because he is not dead.
