petroc-ga,

Although I understand the context of what you wrote, I can't quite
make out what your question is.

Can you perhaps re-state it a bit more directly? What is the question
you would like a Google Answers researcher to try and answer?

Thanks.

in 1977 i began to experience a different mode of thinking and acting
physically, and having short sleep spans. it began to escalate
sessions with doctors mentally and physically. behavior became more
radical, until 1983 i just stood up in the trading room [i was a well
known bond trader]. i put on my hat and coat on february 3rd, and
walked out the door. moved to california to be near stanford. in
1990, my dr. noticed a movement in my right leg. 1991
neurologist first said no then yes p.d moved back to east signed in
with robt wood johnson neurology. for years the doctor could not say
p.d when i checked in for exam my symptoms were not the usual. we were
both confused for it seemed to be located specifically in my legs. no
body tremors no stiffness. when sinemet wore off i was legless, and
deep depression. question long way to get to it. i know manganism
mirrors pd i know that ddt affects the nervous system.
system. i am on veterans pension for frozen feet [ardennes] just got
around to that in 2003. payments retro to 2003. they thought i was
out of mind to wait. that's me but now if i can prove my question
asked, i go to higher payment. no payment for pd per se well
that is about it petroc-ga

I'm neither a doctor nor a researcher but I was chatting to a
knowledgeable guy about DDT a few days ago.

Here in the UK (and possibly elsewhere) it is now a banned substance
but in its heyday it was used everywhere and for everything.

My guess is that it must have done untold damage ...

Hope you find an answer.

All the Best
