tileman, where do you live? I do contracting, carpentry, remodeling,
etc. From my experience, I've met some great people along the way,
electricians, masons, etc. I've been cold-called from my newspaper ad
and made some great friends, who wanted to sub-contract work to me. So
the thing is, network yourself, goto your local lumberyard, make
contacts, give out business cards, tell your friends. I've recieved a
ton of work through references and from my network of friends. You can
also put your business cards on the local banks "business boards" and
other places. Realtors are another option, I've mailed them my
business cards and if a seller needs some repair in a hurry, I've been
called. Hope this helps.

cutomers. but I'am tired of that kind of work. latly I have been doing
commercial work and love it the only thing is, I keep biding lots and
lots of jobs and don't get many looking thats when the question came
up of whrere or how to find negotiated ceramic tile work. my ad in the
blue book is getting me a lot of jobs to bid.

Another point to consider. If you call a big tile contactor, he/she
may offer to sub-contact some work to you, as they tend to be very
busy. That's happened with me with carpentry work.
